Who owns the content on this website, how it may be used and quoted, and how usage rights work for the media we produce.
This Copyright and Usage Rights page explains who owns the content published on OMS Media, how that content may be used and quoted, how to request permission for other uses, and how usage rights work for the media we produce for clients. It applies to every page of this website and to the video, podcast, photography and digital assets delivered under an OMS Media engagement.
Unless otherwise indicated, all content on this website - including text, page designs, graphics, logos, photography, video, audio, showreel material and downloadable files - is owned by or licensed to OMS Media as part of CAQA Groups, operating under Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238). This content is protected by the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and applicable international copyright law.
You may quote short extracts from this website for the purposes of review, commentary, research, education or news reporting, provided the extract is attributed to OMS Media, includes a link back to the source page where practicable, is not altered in a way that changes its meaning, and is not presented in a way that suggests OMS Media endorses your product, service or organisation. You may also print or save individual pages for your own internal, non-commercial reference.
Without our prior written permission, you must not reproduce substantial portions of this website, republish our portfolio, showreel or sample productions on other platforms, scrape or systematically copy site content, remove or obscure copyright and attribution notices, or use our text, imagery, video or audio in commercial materials, paid advertising, templates or competing services.
To request permission to use content from this website beyond permitted quoting, email info@caqa.com.au and describe the content you wish to use, the purpose, the audience, the channels and the duration of use. We aim to respond promptly, and any permission we grant will set out the conditions that apply, including attribution requirements.
Media produced for clients under an engagement - videos, podcasts, photographs, motion graphics and related assets - is licensed or assigned as set out in that engagement. The engagement states what the client may do with the deliverables, on which channels, in which territories and for how long. Using deliverables outside the agreed scope, such as moving a video produced for internal use into paid advertising, may require additional licensing. See our Media Production Terms for how production engagements work.
Productions and website pages may incorporate music, stock footage, stock photography, fonts and other third-party materials. These remain subject to their own licence terms, and permission from OMS Media does not extend to third-party materials. Where a production includes licensed music or stock assets, the permitted use is defined by those licences as recorded in the engagement.
OMS Media may display completed client work in its portfolio, showreel, case studies and pitch materials unless the engagement provides otherwise. Clients who prefer that a project not be showcased can request this at any time, and we will exclude the work from future promotional use.
Rights to publish the image, voice or name of a person appearing in our productions are managed separately from copyright, through our Talent Release and Media Consent process. Holding a copy of a production does not grant rights to reuse footage of identifiable people outside the consented purpose.
OMS Media, CAQA and related brand names, logos and marks displayed on this website are brand assets of CAQA Groups and Career Calling International Pty Ltd. They may not be used, adapted or registered without written permission.
If you believe content on this website infringes your copyright, or that your material has been used without appropriate permission, contact us with details of the material and the basis of your concern. We will investigate and, where appropriate, correct, attribute, licence or remove the material.
